I'm on the bill at Joe's pub for the Happy Endings show on Wednesday 11th January, with my good friend Adam Rapp. Also Diane Williams and music from Ian Axel. The theme is apparently 'the familiar, the weird'. I'm assuming Adam's the weird. I'm going to try not to be too familiar. Hope to see you there.

 On 12th November I'll be participating in Performa Radio, part of the Performa 11 festival in New York city.

 I'll be speaking at the Asian American Writers Workshop's Page Turner festival on Saturday October 29th. Also Junot Diaz, Amitav Ghosh, Amitava Kumar and kimchi tacos, among other people and snacks. Details here.

On Monday, Sept 12th 7-9 pm at the PowerHouse Arena, 137 Main Street in Dumbo, I will be in conversation with Hisham Matar. His new novel, Anatomy of a Disappearance, follows the widely-praised In the Country of Men.
